Udupi: The incident took place in Malpe’s Kalmadi where a laborer who had come to Malpe from Kerala to work on a well died due to chest pain.
45-year-old Suresh, a resident of Kerala state, died. He had come to Malpe for well work in October. He worked there and lived in Kalmadi. A week ago, Suresh had chest pain and went to the doctor for treatment. But again the chest pain worsened and he vomited blood. Suresh was taken to the hospital immediately but his life was lost. A case has been registered in Malpe police station.
